Utilizando tecnología creada originalmente para la exploración espacial y la criogenia, los guantes HALO A°R cuentan con el material de aislamiento extremo aerogel A°RGON™ en una matriz resistente a la compresión.
A°RGON™ es una forma de aerogel desarrollada para el aislamiento en naves espaciales y criogenia debido a sus propiedades de aislamiento superiores. Tradicionalmente, este material se crea eliminando el líquido de un gel y reemplazándolo con aire, lo que crea una estructura ligera, hueca y flexible. Cuando lo probamos hace más de 10 años, se aplastó y se desintegró. A°RGON™ es una versión de espuma incrustada de esto que le permite funcionar en un contexto de buceo.
Con unas propiedades de aislamiento fenomenales, este material permite que los guantes HALO A°R logren una protección térmica extrema a partir de un guante de buceo más fino y menos flotante. Con una capa exterior elástica repelente al viento y al agua, este es un guante que se puede usar con total comodidad, durante todo el día.
El aislamiento A°RGON™ está colocado por todo el guante para mejorar el aislamiento sin comprometer la movilidad ni crear volumen.
