La capa base definitiva para usar bajo un traje seco. Fabricado con Polartec® Powerstretch®, desarrollado originalmente para la NASA, el Xerotherm atrapa una capa de aire (un aislante mucho mejor que el agua) junto a la piel, manteniendo a quien lo usa más seco y cómodo. La gama está diseñada para llevarse debajo de otro traje interior o solo bajo un traje seco de neopreno.
El tejido de punto del Xerotherm produce el efecto de absorción de humedad más rápido de todos los productos de la gama fourth element. La humedad es extraída a través del tejido mediante fibras finas y luego se extiende sobre la superficie exterior. Esto mantiene una fina capa de aire junto a la piel. Esto es tan eficaz en el Xerotherm que algunos usuarios informan haber tenido pequeñas fugas en el traje durante la inmersión sin siquiera notarlo hasta después de la misma.
