What Are Scuba Classes Like?
💻 Get Started with PADI eLearning: Prepare for your Discover Scuba Diving experience with PADI DSD eLearning™. Using a computer or mobile device, you’ll learn about diving safety and fundamentals before getting in the water. eLearning time commitment: 20 minutes
🤿 Let’s go Diving - during this experience you will learn to:
🔷 Equalize Your Ears: Learn to adjust to pressure changes for a comfortable dive.
🔷 Do Buddy Checks: Ensure safety by checking your gear and your dive buddy’s equipment before each dive.
🔷 Buoyancy Control: Master the skill of floating effortlessly underwater.
🔷 About Underwater Communication: Use essential hand signals to stay connected with your buddy.
🔷 Scuba Equipment Familiarization: Get comfortable using scuba gear in the water.
Upon successfully completing the introduction to basic scuba equipment and essential skills, you may participate in a supervised underwater tour, subject to the instructor’s discretion based of your comfort level in the water.

The PADI e-Learning materials are accessible in multiple languages. At B&W Diving, we are pleased to provide in-person dive training in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Please note that comprehension of the training language is crucial for effective learning and maintaining safety throughout your course.
Duration:
It normally takes approximately 2 hours all together. The more relaxed you breathe underwater, the more time we can spend there! If weather conditions prevent diving in our bay, we will provide land transportation to a suitable alternative dive site nearby.
What Is Included?
At B&W Diving, we are committed to transparent pricing with no hidden fees. This program includes:
- Land transport from the dive center to the dive site and return when applicable
- Dive Equipment: including mask, wetsuit, boots, fins, backplate/wing, regulators, dive computer, cylinders, and weights
