Who Is This Course For?

👥 Advanced divers seeking to deepen their understanding of mixtures with more than 40% oxygen and extend bottom time.

What You Will Learn:

🔘 Advanced Dive Physics & Physiology - Understand the effects of gas mixtures containing more than 40% oxygen in your body.

🔘 Comprehensive Gas Planning - Master the use of dive tables, dive computers, and learn the limitations of oxygen and nitrogen.

🔘 Equipment & Procedures - Learn proper cylinder labeling, nitrox analysis, gas blending methods, and oxygen service ratings.

🔘 Decompression Dive Planning - Choose appropriate decompression gases, compare dive tables with personal dive computer data, and plan emergency contingencies.

🔘 Decompression Diving Techniques - Execute safe pre-dive checks, follow decompression schedules, perform gas switching, and deploy SMB/lift bags.

🔘 Fundamental In-Water Skills - Demonstrate precise buoyancy control (hovering, controlled ascents/descents), maintain correct trim, and practice effective buddy communication, awareness and gas-sharing techniques.

The TDI e-Learning materials are accessible in multiple languages. At B&W Diving, we are pleased to provide in-person dive training in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Please note that comprehension of the training language is crucial for effective learning and maintaining safety throughout your course. 

Training Daily Rate: 

Open Circuit or Rebreather Training rates start at €240 per person/day of training. Should there be more students, the fee drops to €210 per person/day, there being a maximum of 3 students per course and all dependent on all students having the same foundational skills. 

What Is Included?

At B&W Diving, we are committed to transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Our daily rates include:

  • Cylinders (twinset, sidemount, CCR + up to 2 stages/bailouts) with gas up to nitrox 32%
  • Tech facility use: 
    • Dedicated workbench, lockable cupboard, storage for bailouts/sidemount/CCR cylinders
    • Washing/drying areas, Wi-Fi, lighting, ceiling fan, CCTV.
  • Land transport

  • Oxygen: €0.02/L
  • Helium: €0.09/L
  • Sofnolime: €170 (20kg) / €9 per kg
  • Twinset/Sidemount tanks: €15
  • CCR 2/3L: €5
  • S80 stage: €8 | bailout with Helium €15
  • 7L stage: €7 | bailout with Helium €14
  • S40 stage: €6.50 | bailout with Helium €12
  • HELIUM BAILOUT, HALF THE PRICE OF THE FULL FILL WILL BE CHARGED
  • Drysuit inflation: €5
  • Drysuit Bottle: €5
  • Twinset/Sidemount Regs: €18
  • Stage/bailout reg: €7

  • Full tech equipment hire (tw/sm regs, stage reg, Wing): €35
  • DPV: €45 per dive

Any gas used out of bailouts will be charged. 

Duration: 

A minimum of 6 dives must be conducted, which can be done in 5 days; however, at our facility, certification is earned, not given, it is subjected to the instructor’s discretion based on your comfort level in the water. We will try our best to help you complete the course in the recommended time, but if extra training days are required, it will incur in extra fees.

Prerequisites:

✔️ Minimum age 18

✔️ Minimum certification of SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, Advanced Diver, or equivalent

✔️ Proof of 25 logged open water dives

✔️ Medically Fit*

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that unexpected changes can occur, but due to the logistical arrangements involved, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled course will incur in a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled course will incur in a 50% cancellation fee.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please inform us as early as possible so we can assist you accordingly and try to accommodate your request.
