Your PADI Instructor will also guide you through buddy procedures, buoyancy control, and deep-water safety techniques, helping you gain the confidence to explore depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet).
What You Will Learn:
🔹 Managing gas supply at greater depths
🔹 How depth affects perception, objects, and decision-making
🔹 Recognize and respond to nitrogen narcosis
🔹 Understand your personal limits and deep dive safety
🔹 Learn essential safety procedures for deep dives
🔹 Develop confidence in managing depth-related challenges
The PADI e-Learning materials are accessible in multiple languages. At B&W Diving, we are pleased to provide in-person dive training in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Please note that comprehension of the training language is crucial for effective learning and maintaining safety throughout your course.
Duration:
We structure the course over 4 dives in 2 days minimum. The Deep Diver Specialty Course requires a strong foundation in buoyancy, trim, and positioning (BTP). Upon successful completion, this certification will qualify you to dive to a maximum depth of 40m (130 feet) using a single cylinder. This course might motivate you to take on technical diving, which provides greater gas redundancy, enhanced safety, and advanced diving skills.
At our facility, certification is earned, not given, it is subjected to the instructor’s discretion based on your comfort level in the water. We will try our best to help you complete the course in the recommended time, but if extra training days are required, it will incur in extra fees.
