Equipment returns policy

Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you buy as a consumer, you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Just tell us by email at blackandwhitediving@gmail.com before the 14 days have passed. The full policy and a cancellation form are in our Returns and refunds policy.

Returning items

Please send the items back within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling, to Black & White Diving, Triq l-Arċisqof Pietru Pace, Victoria (Ir-Rabat), Gozo VDT 2504, Malta. You pay the direct cost of the return; we recommend a tracked and insured service.

You may handle the items as you would in a shop to check them, but please do not use them in the water. You are liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to check them.

Where possible, return items complete, with their accessories, manuals, tags and packaging.

The right to cancel does not apply to items made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example personalised or engraved equipment, custom-made hoods and suits, and equipment configured to your order), to sealed items not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed, or to courses and guided dives booked for a specific date.

Refunds

We refund all payments received, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of the day you told us you are cancelling. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we do not refund the difference.

We may wait to refund you until we have received the items back or you have shown us proof that you sent them, whichever is earlier.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used for the order, and you will not pay any fees for the refund.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please take photos of the box and the items and contact us as soon as possible, so we can sort it out with the carrier.

Faulty or incorrect items

All equipment we sell is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery. If an item is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a free repair or replacement, or, if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund.

Please contact us as soon as you notice a problem, with your order number, a description of the issue and photos or a video where helpful. Please do not try to repair, open or service the item yourself.

We may ask to inspect the item. Where the claim is valid, we cover the cost of returning it to us.

Many brands also give a manufacturer’s warranty, and we are happy to handle warranty claims with the brand for you. A manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them.

Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage and lack of maintenance are not faults.

Questions about a return? Get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
