La sous-couche ultime à porter sous une combinaison étanche. Fabriqué à partir de Polartec® Powerstretch®, conçu à l'origine pour la NASA, le Xerotherm emprisonne une couche d'air, un isolant bien plus efficace que l'eau au contact de la peau, gardant ainsi l'utilisateur plus au sec et plus à l'aise. Cette gamme est conçue pour être portée sous une autre sous-combinaison ou seule sous une combinaison étanche en néoprène.
Le tissage du tissu Xerotherm offre l'effet d'évacuation de l'humidité le plus rapide de tous les produits de la gamme fourth element. L'humidité est extraite à travers le tissu le long de fibres fines, puis se répand sur la surface extérieure. Cela permet de maintenir une fine couche d'air au contact de la peau. C'est si efficace avec le Xerotherm que certains utilisateurs rapportent avoir eu de petites fuites dans leur combinaison pendant la plongée sans même s'en apercevoir avant d'être sortis de l'eau.

Telle fut la réaction de Doug Allan, cinéaste sous-marin de renommée mondiale et maintes fois primé, après avoir testé le Xerotherm dans une eau à -2 degrés (29F) dans le cercle polaire arctique au Svalbard, lors du tournage de séquences pour la production de la BBC, The Blue Planet.
Le Xerotherm est utilisé par les équipes de plongée du FBI, la marine norvégienne et les unités de plongée de la police britannique.
