About
A complete single tank backmount BCD built from DanSun's own parts: a 32 lb SuperFabric wing, a titanium or carbon fibre backplate and STA, titanium hardware and quick-release weight pockets. Simple design, high-performance materials and made to last for decades.
The 32 lb wing is sized for single tank diving, so the BCD stays compact and streamlined in the water. Its SuperFabric shell resists cuts and abrasion from rocks, wrecks and boat decks far better than standard nylon, and nothing in the set can rust.
Choose between two backplates. The titanium set is strong and completely corrosion-free, and its extra weight helps with trim when you dive in a drysuit. The carbon fibre set is 700 g lighter, which makes it a great choice for travel and warm water diving.
The STA is fixed with two titanium hand-tight screws, so you can set up or switch tanks without tools. Four quick-release weight pockets spread your lead along the waist and can be dropped in an emergency. Every part is also sold separately, so you can add D-rings, swap tank straps or upgrade later and adjust the BCD to the way you dive.
