TDI MOD 1 CCR Air Diluent (30 m) - Transform Your Diving Forever

The TDI Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) Air Diluent Diver Course is your first step into closed-circuit rebreather diving, and your first truly quiet dives. By using the latest CCR technology, you’ll significantly extend your gas supply while breathing an optimal gas mixture at any depth through constant oxygen partial pressure control. Simply put, it’s like carrying a nitrox blending station on your back.

This course trains you to safely conduct no-decompression CCR dives to a maximum depth of 30 metres / 100 feet using air diluent, under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

This course is currently available on the CCR Divesoft Liberty Sidemount.

Who Is This Course For?

👥 Certified divers looking to advance their training and equipment configuration by transitioning into rebreather diving

📸 Underwater photographers and explorers seeking longer dives, silence, and closer marine life interactions

⚙️ Divers wanting to begin their technical rebreather pathway with a solid, structured foundation

What You Will Learn:

🔘 CCR Fundamentals & Theory - History and evolution of rebreathers, and comparisons between Open Circuit (OC), Semi-Closed (SCR), and Closed Circuit (CCR) systems

🔘 System Mechanics & Design - Practical understanding of CCR components, electronics, and manual systems

🔘 Gas Physiology - Oxygen toxicity, nitrogen exposure, CNS limits, and CCR-specific gas management

🔘 Scrubber & Unit Management - Proper scrubber packing, unit assembly, disassembly, and post-dive cleaning

🔘 Dive Planning & Execution - Dive tables, dive computers, set points, and CCR dive planning procedures

🔘 Emergency Procedures - Failure management, bailout strategies, and problem-solving protocols

🔘 Checklists & Best Practices - Pre-dive checks, dive checklists, and disciplined CCR procedures

What’s In It For You?

Independent CCR Diving: Upon successful completion, you may dive the CCR you were trained on without direct instructor supervision, provided conditions are similar to training

Extended Dive Capability: Conduct silent, efficient no-decompression CCR dives

Strong Technical Foundation: Build the essential base for further CCR and advanced technical training

Graduates may dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres / 100 feet, with no decompression, in environments and conditions similar to those encountered during training.

The TDI e-Learning materials are accessible in multiple languages. At B&W Diving, we are pleased to provide in-person dive training in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese. Please note that comprehension of the training language is crucial for effective learning and maintaining safety throughout your course.
