About
The Halcyon Symbios is a chest-mounted closed-circuit rebreather built around how divers really move and explore. It is compact and streamlined, sits low on your chest for good trim and easy access, and breathes easily in every position.
Safety is built in: hybrid oxygen sensing with electrochemical cells and a GreenFlash solid-state sensor, a patented BOV/ADV system, vibration alarms at the chest and bold visual alerts. Adaptive setpoint control and redundant wireless communication link it to the Symbios handset, HUD and tank pods.
The modular, travel-friendly unit has a large CO2 scrubber capacity, a rechargeable battery for about 40 hours and app integration for pre-dive checklists, firmware updates and logs. It is EN 14143 compliant and scales from recreational CCR diving to expeditions.
