B&W Signature CCR Refine

B&W Signature CCR Refine - Build Confidence

Fall in love with your unit.

You’re already certified. But you feel like there were some gaps or not enough time to absorb it all. Our Signature CCR Refine Program offers dedicated coaching for certified CCR divers who want to improve comfort, control and consistency without working towards another certification.

We begin by looking at how you currently dive, identifying where unnecessary effort, movement or task loading is creeping in. From there, we build the session around you: your equipment, your habits and the areas you want to develop.

Buoyancy, trim, propulsion, loop management, procedures, awareness and equipment configuration all contribute to how much attention you have available underwater. As these become more consistent and natural, you free up capacity for your team, your surroundings and the dive itself.

The goal isn’t simply to perform the skills. The goal is to make them feel effortless.

Available on the Divesoft Liberty in both Backmount and Sidemount configurations, with the Halcyon Symbios coming soon. We’ll discuss the most suitable configuration with you before confirming your booking.

Who Is This Program For?

👥 Certified CCR divers wanting greater comfort and control.

🔧 Divers looking to optimise their existing setup.

🔄 Divers noticing inconsistent skills or habits who want constructive feedback and purposeful practice.

🌊 Divers preparing for further training or more demanding diving who want to strengthen their foundations within their existing qualifications.

What You Will Work On

🔘 Buoyancy, Trim & Position: Refine depth control and balance, reducing constant corrections and unnecessary movement.

🔘 Propulsion & Precision: Develop positioning, precise manoeuvres and power through frog kicks, modified kicks, helicopter turns and back kicks.

🔘 Loop Management: Refine loop volume management and understand how your habits affect buoyancy, comfort and control.

🔘 Procedures & Consistency: Review preparation, checklists and unit-specific procedures, identifying areas where a more deliberate approach would help.

🔘 Skills Under Task Loading: Practise maintaining your platform and awareness while carrying out tasks appropriate to your certification and experience.

🔘 Equipment Configuration: Review fit, weighting, hose routing, bailout accessibility and equipment placement to improve usability.

🔘 Awareness & Team Diving: Work on positioning, communication and maintaining awareness while managing your rebreather.

🔘 Efficiency & Good Habits: Identify where you’re working harder than necessary.

Your session is personalised. We’ll prioritise the areas most relevant to you, rather than rush through every topic.

What’s In It For You?

✅ More Comfortable CCR Diving: Reduce the effort spent correcting your position or managing an awkward setup.

✅ Greater Consistency: Build habits you can repeat reliably throughout your dives.

✅ More Available Attention: Free up capacity to monitor your unit, support your team and stay aware of your surroundings.

✅ Clear, Constructive Feedback: diagnosing what to adjust is key, why it matters and how to practise it.

✅ Purposeful Development: Leave with specific priorities to carry into your everyday diving.

This is a non-certification coaching program for certified CCR divers. Coaching takes place on a unit and configuration you are already qualified to dive, within your existing certification limits. It does not replace a unit crossover or extend your depth, decompression or overhead qualifications.

In-person instruction is available in English, French, Spanish and Japanese. You must be able to understand the briefing and communicate clearly with your instructor throughout the program.

Program Rate

From €440 per person for the two day program.

Duration

The duration is two days. We allow time for an equipment review, briefing, focused in-water coaching and a detailed debrief. We’ll maximise your time in the water, with space to practise, make adjustments and repeat skills without rushing.

What Is Included?

Your program includes a dedicated CCR instructor, cylinders suited to your configuration, gas up to Nitrox 32%, weights, technical facility use and land transport.

Additional costs: Gas above Nitrox 32%, Sofnolime, extra cylinders, equipment hire, and any ferry or boat fees are charged separately.

Prerequisites

✔️ A recognised CCR certification for the unit and configuration you will use.

✔️ Diving experience appropriate to your proposed coaching goals.

✔️ A completed diving medical questionnaire (compulsory for all divers in Malta), with medical clearance where required.

Please share your unit, certification level, recent CCR experience and coaching goals before booking. If you have been away from CCR diving for an extended period, we’ll discuss whether a structured refresher would be the most suitable starting point.

Questions & answers

Good to know

Can’t find your answer? Send us a message and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I try a rebreather before booking a course?

Yes! Our Liberty Try Dive lets you experience rebreather diving in calm, shallow water, with a full briefing and kit set-up.

Do I need my own rebreather?

No. We have Divesoft Liberty rebreathers available to rent during your training.

Backmount or sidemount Liberty?

Both use the same Liberty electronics and loop. Backmount is classic and very stable; sidemount is modular and great for travel and tight spaces. We’ll help you choose.

What experience do I need?

Prerequisites depend on the course. Send us your certifications and logged dives and we’ll tell you where to start.

Do you also service rebreathers?

Yes. We are certified Divesoft Liberty service technicians and can have your unit serviced and ready before your trip ends.

When will Halcyon Symbios training be available?

Halcyon Symbios chestmount training is coming soon. Get in touch and we’ll let you know as soon as courses start.
